COWBOY ACTION SHOOTING CLUB
CAPTIAL CITY MARSHALS
Begining immediatly, The cowboy matches will be Cowboy/Western three gun. The matches will be held primarily in pit 11. We are not affiliated with SASS (Single Action Shooting Society). We will shoot every third Sunday of the month except in July and August, when it's just too hot to dress up.
To shoot you will need:
- At least one single action revolver
- One lever action rifle, chambered in a pistol caliber (i.e. 45 Colt, 357 mag, 44 mag, etc) No magnum loads. Lead bullets only. No jacketed bullets
- Double barrel shotgun (with or without hammers) or a pump shotgun (with a hammer) 20 gauge or larger
- Impact resistant glasses and Hearing protection is required
- Dress is as close to cowboy as possible. Long sleeved shirt, boots, and hat
- No shorts, t-shirts, or baseball caps. Nothing camouflaged
This shoot is open to the public. Women and children are welcome. Alcohol is prohibited. Cussing will be kept to a minimum. Come out and have a good time.
All SASS (Single Action Shooter's Society) and CAGC safety rules will be strictly observed.
