F-CLASS 300 YARD MATCH

TIME SLOTS ARE 9:00-10:45, 10:45-12:30, 1:00-2:45 AND 2:45-4:30

ENTRY INFORMATION

Competitors should contact the match director to reserve a shooting spot during the competition. You will be assigned a time slot via email or return phone call. Time slots are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Competitors may register the day of the match and shoot on a space available basis.

We will run competitors in 4 relays. Each relay will take approximately one hour and 30 minutes. Competitors should arrive at least 20 minutes prior to their start time to sign in, set up and begin on time.

AMMUNITION

Competitors will supply thier own ammunition (hand loads or commerical).

NO TRACER, ARMOR PIERCING OR STEEL CORE AMMUNITION.

Competitors may shoot F-Target Rifle (limited to .308 or .223 calibers using front bipod and/or sling and rear bag) and/or F Open Rifle (limited to 34 caliber and below with any front rest that doesn't allow a mechanical return to zero capability and rear bag).

The F-TR is a seperate match from the F-Open as different rules and restrictions on equipment apply.

Competitve categories will be:

  1. highest aggregate F-TR score,
  2. highest aggregate F-Open score,
  3. highest score for a single string of 20 rounds,
  4. highest overall aggregate scoree between F-TR and F-Open

RULES & SAFETY

All CAGC Rules apply; eye and hearing protection required, empty chamber indicators (ECIs) required. ECIs will be available for $1 each.

Match director or designated representative(s) will score targets; competitors will assist in *pulling targets* and putting up new targets and painting metal targets, etc.

COURSE OF FIRE

  • 300 yards for the entire competition, slow fire from the prone position.
  • 5 minutes ----- 5 sighter rounds
  • 20 minutes ----- 20 rounds on paper target for score
  • After the first string of 20 rounds, targets will be scored and given to the competitors.
  • 22 minutes ----- 2 sighter rounds followed by 20 rounds on paper targets for score.
  • Maximum score from these two strings of 20 (40 total rounds) will be 400.
  • Hits in the X ring of the target are used for tie breakers.

Cost

$10 per competitor per match; $20 to shoot in both F-TR and F-Open. Bring food and plenty of water. Temperatures can vary widely. Be prepared for any weather. The range has restroom facilities and running water.
