INFORMATION

IDPA competitors are divided into classifications within each division based upon their skill level. IDPA has a very quick and easy method of classifying shooters.

The IDPA classifier is a special 90 round match, classification is required in order to shoot at a sanctioned IDPA major match. However you may compete at Central Alabama Gun Club as an unclassified shooter.

Depending on your overall classification score, you will be classified as Novice, Marksman, Sharpshooter, Expert, or Master. A classifier is required for each class of pistol or revolver. More information is available in the IDPA Rulebook on page 70.

If you would like to set up a time to shoot the classifier or for more information, please e-mail David Rawlinson deadidave43@gmail.com.
