This is a private, members-only range. Memberships are available. All events and matches are open to the public. Facilities include 14 pistol bays, 100 & 300 yard rifle ranges, a falling plate pistol bay, two rim fire steel bays, an archery range, shotgun 5-stand, and an air conditioned clubhouse. Restrooms are available. The range is located roughly 14 miles east of Montgomery, near Shorter, Alabama.

The next CAGC club meeting will be the first Saturday in FEBRUARY. Stay tuned, it may involve a work day for members.

RANGE WORK: We have planned range work coming up in the immediate future. One group will be working on trimming trees on the 100 and 300 yard range. We will have an electrician working on/near the 100 yard range.
THEIR SAFETY AND ABILITY TO COMPLETE THEIR TASKS IS YOUR AND OUR RESPONSIBILITY. Please offer them every courtesy and be prepared to give them the time and room they need to work.
Clearly, NO SHOOTING on ranges where people are working.

NRA SERVICE RIFLE MATCH:
October 12
These matches are 500 Aggregates consisting of
1- Offhand 10 rounds in 10 minutes
2-Sitting Rapid 10 rounds in 60 seconds, (service rifle-magazine and 2 rounds, magazine change and 8 additional rounds), (bolt action, 5 rounds and 5 additional rounds)
3-prone rapid fire -10 rounds in 70 seconds, (service rifle a magazine and 2 rounds, and magazine change and 8 additional rounds), ( bolt action, 5 rounds and 5 rounds)
4-prone slow fire, 20 rounds single load in 20 minutes
Each phase of fire will be preceded by 2 sighter shots.
You may choose any service rifle that you choose, however you must be familiar with your firearm and be able to keep the cadence with the match, as above.

1. On Club meeting days the gate opens for visitors and prospective new members. Membership applications can be completed and submitted for membership at the meeting. New members join fee: $100.00 initiation fee + prorated annual dues determined by the month you join (check or cash).
2. CAGC members check out the new bulletin board on the members' page. This page provides a place to advertise and shop for firearms and accessories.
3. ***FIVE STAND RANGE: The Five Stand Range is closed until we can buy new (less expensive) throwers and set it up again.
